Dining Room Round Up River Green Project

by Nicki on November 20, 2017

Did somebody say, Bermuda Blossoms?  This Schumacher Fabric is a billowing floral that makes a bold statement.  We love when our clients are willing to go bold!

The dining room table and chairs belonged to our clients. We had the chairs reupholstered to a more neutral color so that the fabric could steal the show. Combining the sophisticated table with the modern chandelier was a great way to mix up styles to create a transitional dining room.

The shell mirror hangs on the largest wall in the room and gives a nod to coastal and is highlighted with a pair of white White Glass Star lamps from Regina Andrew Designs.

Dining Room Roundup Gardner Terrace Part 2

by Nicki on November 7, 2017

The kids table never looked so good!  Our clients wanted a functional space in their kitchen that fit both their everyday use as well as overflow on holidays.  This banquet we designed is one of our favorites and has been approved by this little princess.

Project Blakeway Tile Selections

by Nicki on October 29, 2017

Tile is the perfect option for any space that will get wet and dirty all the time.  You can even get great tile on a budget and its easy to clean and there are so many patterns for laying tile.

For our Project Blakeway House we choose these tiles for the new Master Bath

The small squares will be the shower floor and the long white subway tile is for the shower walls

This tile above is for the master floor and will be installed offset by 33% and run the long way to show off the space.

This fun hexagon is for the kids bathroom floor. We love using this pattern!

The laundry room is going to be making a major statement without breaking the bank. This is a cement look porcelain tile.

And here’s a sneak peek of what its starting to look like at the house… very exciting!

Thanks for following along.

Dining Room Roundup Ralston Creek Project

by Nicki on October 24, 2017

Some houses call for a more casual dining space where our client’s can still host large groups but the table also functions on a more day to day level then the special occasion room used for holidays only!  This dining area in our Ralston Creek Project combines a causal-elegant perfection.

Here are 5 tips for making your dining space come together…

  1. Choose a table and chairs that reflect your style

  2. In a high traffic dining area skip the rug but in many dining rooms a rug  adds warmth

  3. Add statement lighting .. an amazing light makes all the difference. Be sure it matches the scale of the table and the room

  4. Personalize the room with Art.  Friends and Family gather here so add art for color and interest

  5. Style the table.. a simple arrangement or a row or something monochromatic will do the trick
